Reassess Your Current Plan 

Each hotel has been forced to create a new game plan. As you pivot your hotel’s marketing approach, the first step is to examine your current one. What has worked? What has not worked? Many of your previous concepts may not be applicable anymore. Take what does work, and modify it to fit your hotel’s current marketing needs. This may require exploring new marketing avenues. Consider trying something new, like creating social media accounts on different platforms to engage a larger audience. 

Stay In Touch With Email 

An effective way to reassure your guests during a time of uncertainty is by keeping a constant line of communication. This is best done through email. Reach out to guests, partners, and other important contacts by keeping them up to date on what your hotel is doing. This is a space where you can introduce new services, or simply inform them on how your staff will be taking health precautions as businesses open up. Make sure to let them know that there are people on your team who are available to answer any questions or address potential concerns. 

Offer New Value 

With new changes coming into place inside your hotel, step up your marketing by offering something of value for guests. Entice them to book their next stay at your hotel with a new offer they will benefit from. Once you have solidified your idea, promote it online using social media, email marketing, and/or your website. A new offer will be refreshing to old guests while grabbing the attention of new potential guests. You can provide guests offers such as:

  • Risk-free booking if they book direct 
  • Special dining offers at on premise food hubs or restaurants 
  • New partnerships with local tourist attractions
  • Special amenities for essential workers who have to travel and need a safe and comfortable place to stay

In order to keep our team healthy and safe, we have taken precautions, and all team members that are not needed in producing or warehousing activities are working from home. Further, we have built additional redundancy in our supply network.
