As your hotel looks forward to a fresh start, it’s important to be prepared and equipped for when your doors reopen. To help support the hospitality industry, we have created an entire checklist of the most essential supplies needed to welcome guests back.

We did our best to compile all the information available from big brands to Trade Associations to small hotels on the leading edge of information.

In this time of crisis, Front Desk Supply is here to be a resource for support by supplying PPE supplies on our new website. Many of the supplies on our checklist are available for purchase here.

We divided our checklist into specific categories that address the many needs of a hotel:

Employees

Significant change starts with your hotel staff. Employees are responsible for making sure guests feel safe and healthy throughout their stay. Our checklist provides information for employees to navigate through this new experience. Your team can utilize this list and keep each other accountable for every step.

Front Desk & Lobby

Upon arriving at your hotel, guests should immediately feel comfortable that all safety precautions are in place. This section of our checklist provides detailed information of what types of supplies are needed to ensure social distancing and cleanliness.

Public Space & Restrooms

Similar to the lobby, there are many spaces in hotels that have more foot traffic. Common areas require definitive guidelines for both guests and staff. Public restrooms also require extra attention during this time. Our checklist lays out everything your team needs to cover these areas.

Guest Room & Housekeeping

One of the concerns guests will have involves the new procedures in their rooms. Your housekeeping staff will need to have extra cleaning systems in order for proper sanitation. Our checklist provides specific areas within guests rooms that will now require cleaning after each stay.

Food & Beverage

Another concern guests may have can be with hotel food and beverage. In our list, we share different ways in which your staff can ensure that hotel restaurants are sanitized and open for all guests to enjoy.

Is your hotel prepared? Know exactly what you need to welcome back guests safely.

In order to keep our team healthy and safe, we have taken precautions, and all team members that are not needed in producing or warehousing activities are working from home. Further, we have built additional redundancy in our supply network. Although we have not experienced any significant delays in our supply chain, we will continue to monitor changes and will utilize alternate vendors if needed to ensure we can hold to our normal lead times. We are in close contact with our shipping partners and will advise our customers of any widespread issues affecting delivery.

We know that this is a time of change and uncertainty, so we encourage you to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns about us, our team, or our products.
